CWT FUND WATER AND ROOFS

Our friends from CWT  (Communities Working Together) have done it again!

In 2018 they did lots of fund raising from their HQ in Nottingham and donated £10 000 toward the rebuilding of Sundara Devi School. This year they have donated another £2300 to facilitate water coming to the school which is so important for health and hygiene. It will also pay for insulated roofing.

Our friends and partners at TMO (The Mandala Organisation) will as ever be co-ordinating the work.

Here are a few before and after photos. The difference is dramatic and it was great when Malti from CWT made a huge diversion from a family holiday in India, to visit the school they have done so much to help.

The next stage is to upgrade each classroom with carpets and teaching resources that will support the Teacher Training that is being provided through our friends and experts at First Steps Himalaya.
