BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL PHUKET DONATION HELPS NEPAL
|
|
In 2017, Jo lead a group to visit the schools and communities we are supporting in Nepal. Chris Greene from British International School in Thailand, helped to co-ordinate a visit by a school representative to join Jo. This was Iain who was responsible for deciding on a project to support with the money raised by the final year students from the school. They specifically wanted to help after the earthquake.
Hagam Senior School was in real need of computers. Iain decided this would be the most appropriate use of their donation. The main image for this blog is the result of their generosity. Thanks to Milan for co-ordinating this donation. Milan is from TMO (The Mandala Organisation) who are our partners in Nepal.
We are hoping that we now start to receive a report each month from one of the Nepalese students showing how the computers are helping their education.
GREAT PEOPLE GIVE GREAT RESULTS!
