STOW was launched 7 years ago by Carol Lovell from her home in North Hertfordshire. The bold styles are now used by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, Bobbi Brown, Victoria Pendleton CBE and Karren Brady CBE. I might have to add Pauline Sanderson too!
Carol had a mission to create THE global destination for luxurious, practical and life-lasting essential accessories for home and away organisation. However she did it with the goal of embedding environmental and ethical principals as part of that mission. It is no surprise that when the opportunity came to join Jo Pawley (co-founder of IYH) on a visit to see the communities we support, Carol booked herself on along with her daughter Tor.
Carol and Tor made the effort to see first hand what we are doing at IYH to help those who need us most in Nepal. We are proud to say they came back inspired to make a difference which they both did independently of each other. Tor was part of a team that raised over £1000 by promoting and delivering a fantastic event at her school (see separate blog). Carol, has chosen IYH as a charity to support through her company.
STOW is donating 15% from all the sales of Limited Edition Suede pencil cases to In Your Hands Charity. THANK YOU

Tor also wrote a diary during her visit to Nepal which is published on the STOW site and is worth the read. The link above takes you straight there.
Pauline visited her long time friend Carol at her HQ to see her ‘inspiration wall’ which was full of colours and pictures from Nepal. That is where the sponsored case all began. Never a dull moment with Carol. She is inspiring, generous, ethical and such a laugh. What’s not to love!
